Bringing Hope to Families
Kendra Didion founded the Kendra’s House last year. The residential group home’s mission is to help young women learn how to trust themselves and their ability to take care of themselves and others. At a minimum, residents will be expected to attend school, take part in counseling, attend to their personal hygiene and participate in the upkeep of the residence. They will be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. The Kendra’s House combines boarding school excellence with the best in therapeutic care for loving renovation.
Kendra’s House provides counseling and support in, mental health, trauma, addictions and attachment disorders. The teens will learn about themselves and explore the challenges and adversity to become productive members of the community.
At Kendra’s House, our mission is to create an environment where teens know they are loved, valued and have purpose. We believe that meaning and hope are found in Christianity, but we respect each teen’s faith journey..
